BlackBerry 10 launched

Launch of BlackBerry 10; OPPA! BB Style!!

BlackBerry 10 Launching event

OPPA!! BB Style. Yes, Canadian technology premier Research in Motion, regularly known as RIM, Company that developed BlackBerry mobile OS platform and BlackBerry mobile phones, are going to make history in mobile industry today.

"We expect tomorrow to really be the kickoff for the introduction of Blackberry 10," RIM's Chief Marketing Officer Frank Boulben told ABC News in a phone interview. "We have been engaged for quite a period of time with the two main constituents -- the carriers and the developers -- and we've already said we are in the labs of more than 150 carriers around the world."

Though, Apple said earlier that there would be 240 carriers serving iPhone 5 by December and that was enormous in mobile phone launching history, the numbers are yet to confirm. But Boulben points out that BlackBerry 10 is an entirely new operating system that doesn't share a single line of code with previous BlackBerry software; the iPhone 5 and iOS 6, by contrast, was essentially an upgrade. "We are highly differentiated in four areas," Boulben said. The first is with communications -- RIM has designed the software around a messaging hub and new multitasking features. The second: the touch keyboard, which predicts words as you are typing them. Lastly, RIM says it’s BlackBerry Messenger and its BlackBerry Balance feature, which separates work from personal uses on the phone, set it apart.

At Wednesday's event BlackBerry will show its new handsets in detail. RIM is expected to release a touch-screen device called the Z10 and another with a physical keyboard. AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon have said they will carry devices that run the new software. Boulben also said RIM will highlight major differences between BlackBerry 10 and the other leading mobile phone platforms.

There’s another good news for developers also. Alec Saunders, RIM’s Vice President of Developer Relations told, “Our goal is to get as many applications out in the store as we can”. Good luck guys- get the most outrageous applications out from your basket.

Hyundai HB20X

Karbonn S1 Titanium

Karbonn S1 Titanium for INR 10,990.00 only

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Karbonn unveiled their Android dual SIM smartphone S1 Titanium’s price tag in their website. It’s INR 10,990.00, appx US$205.00. Not good enough if compared with other Indian mobile brands and too much costly from Chinese brands, but, good choice for mid-range customers.

Karbonn S1 Titanium comes with 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor, powerful for multi-tasking or big game. Corporate people or teenage gamers whatever you are, you’ll find S1 Titanium workable. 1GB of RAM enough for power users also. There is 4GB of internal memory to store your most useful apps, work files, games or images or video moments of your beloved ones. You can add up to 32GB of external memory in S1’s microSD card slot to store many more of your works and enjoyments.

Wanna click a beautiful moment? Karbonn S1 Titanium’s 5.0 mega pixel auto focus rear camera will shot anything perfectly from dark night to shiny day as it has LED flash light also. Front facing VGA camera will work as web cam for video calling as well as regular camera to take pictures and videos.

Multi-touch capacitive 4.5 inch IPS display screen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution is much better than regular 480 x 800 pixels display. You can watch eye catching movies without irritation, play games vibrantly and work flawlessly hours after hours.

This Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operated dual SIM (GSM+GSM) quad band phone has GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB connectivity. Its 1600 mAh battery will empower up to 4 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand-by time. Though, only 1600 mAh battery is not enough for today’s high resolution and powerful games or apps because, it’ll drain out quickly and may become very hot. Karbonn should check this matter urgently and improve battery power. It seems they are quite known of this issue as they’ve mentioned in their official website to download Task Killer from Google Play to kill all the unwanted apps running in the background.

It is clear that they are after Micromax A116 Canvas HD, which got fabulous attention recently in Indian mobile arena and within Indian customers. Now it is to see what customers choose from these two similar models. Micromax A116 Canvas HD with better features and higher price or Karbonn S1 Titanium with much lower features with a good amount of discounted price (in terms of comparison with each other), whichever wins customers choice will be a good example of business competition in the history of Indian mobile business.
