Ferrari FF

HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl Review, Specs and Price

HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl

The HP Pavilion dv6-6163cl laptop is a comprehensive general public good. For a reasonable price ($ 799.99 list at Costco), 15.6-inch model provides a modern setting, based on the new Intel Core i5-2430M processor, which is paired with 6 GB of memory altogether. The HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl  also has an aluminum frame that is stronger and smarter than your plastic laptop on average. Beats Audio is also on board, resulting in exceptional audio and integrated speakers, especially when using headphones. And because this model is sold at Costco, which is backed by a two-year warranty, double the coverage of the average mobile consumer. For more details, Please see the full specifications of the HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl below :

HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl Full Specs and Features :

The only feature that allows the HP Pavilion dv6-6163cl do the trick as a portable home entertainment Kick-Ass is the addition of Beats Audio. It dramatically improves the sound, if you listen to the speakers of the laptop or a headset. The laptop does not have the usual pair of speakers, but four speakers. Both are behind the grill in the upper keys, and two are on the front edge of the laptop. The HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl is based on the Intel Core i5-2430M processor, a new second-generation Sandy Bridge processor clocked at 2.4GHz. With Intel Turbo Boost, it can crank up to 2.7GHz. The laptop also features 6GB of memory and integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. Its score of 2,442 on PCMark 7 outpaced the 2,066 that the Lenovo IdeaPad V570-SE16FX/S achieved, which uses a slightly older and slightly slower 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M processor.

With Intel's integrated graphics will not be error HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl for a gaming machine. It 'been able to collect only 15.6 frames per second (fps) in our Crysis test, and only 18 fps in Lost Planet 2, both tests to drive a modest resolution of 1024 x 768. Laptop can not post respectable results, however, 3DMark06, scoring 4863 1024 x 768 resolution comparison, the IdeaPad V570-SE16FX / S to use the Intel HD graphics 3000, and it was not until 4414, once again shown to improve the performance of the core i5 2430M chip offers.

Despite the use of a standard CPU voltage, the HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl become a score of battery life on MobileMark 2007. With a 6-cell (55Wh) battery, which ran for 6 hours 6 minutes, beating the time of the IdeaPad V570-1066A9U 4 hours 41 minutes.

Although it costs a bit more than competing models, it is difficult to argue against the HP Pavilion Dv6-6163cl. Other than the mouse buttons clacky, we have no quibbles about the design that is both hard and smooth thanks to the use of aluminum. Characteristics that one would have liked to see Bluetooth and dedicated graphics, but it is rare to find a $ 800 laptop with dedicated graphics. As configured, it delivers application performance very competitive price.
