return it to the retailer once you find out you got a defective touchpad.
You will know it by the first day.
my mom bought it and decided to live with it even though i told her that the touchpad often (at least once every 5 minutes if not more of using the touchpad) would be unresponsive.
3 weeks later and past the 14 day return policy at best buy, she is stuck with this pain in the butt netbook.
I had to waste time having to deal with technical support who pretended that they were helping me by making me wipe out the hard drive and return it to factory software. They know it is a hardware issue but won't admit it.
Now they are sending me a box so i can send it in for repairs which will take at least a month.
